Personal Trust Administrator | The Capital Group Companies | Reno, NV

In response to continued client account growth we are adding an experienced Personal Trust Administrator to our Reno-based Personal Investment Management team.

The Trust Administrator will work closely with Investment Counselors to service their trust and agency accounts. A key focus for comprehensive account management includes the review of trust and other legal documents to monitor and carry out all requirements. The Trust Administrator must possess strong verbal and written abilities, since they will communicate directly with clients and their advisors. The Trust Administrator may also participate in meetings with clients and their advisors. The successful candidate must also be collaborative and team oriented in order to work effectively with our associates in a wide range of locations and departments. The Trust Administrator will set up and manage accounts using Global Plus. Responsibilities also include supervising support staff which involves assisting in their training and development.

Hiring Criteria:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years recent experience as a Trust/Estate Administrator
  • Strong knowledge of trust operations and securities movements
  • Knowledge of fiduciary and probate law, and administration of trusts
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
  • Ability to work with multiple individuals in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Committed to providing a high level of client service
  • Complex problem-solving skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities essential
  • Work well under pressure to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel and Lotus Notes
  • Knowledge of Global Plus or other similar trust accounting systems desired, but not required
  • Knowledge of bank or trust operations is a plus
  • CTFA certification helpful
